Not Applicable Your soror, Banti Zehyoue, of the Phi Sigma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha, represents the fine character of AKAs worldwide. I had a delightful conversation with her some time ago in Baton Rouge and will keep her chapter in thoughts and prayers. I would like to make a contribution to her chapter's activities. Please let me know how I can accomplish this. I have also enjoyed reading about your activities in this region. Thank you very much. Submitted By: Rosalind Reynard

Not Applicable I am a recently published African-American author with a debut novel, "And the Walls Came Tumbling Down: The Secret Life of Senator Jack." I am also a soror! The book is a political, suspense, romantic thriller that has been receiving excellent book reviews! It is a real page-turner. Please visit my book website to learn more about the novel at http://vernadinemerrick.com I would very much like the opportunity to come speak to my Alpha Kappa Alpha sorors about the book. It’s my strong belief my sisters would experience similar high interest in the novel, particularly in the time of Obama. In addition, love, suspense, power struggles, family, race relations and redemption are timeless qualities that remain an intricate part of the American psyche. “And the Walls Came Tumbling Down: The Secret Life of Senator Jack” is available on my website. It is also offered on Amazon.com and can be purchased at Barnes & Noble and Borders (ISBN: 978-1-60860-213-1). Feel free to reach me at

Not Applicable Hello, I was wondering where could I find a list of events for the graduate chapter in New Orleans, LA. I am interested in joining a graduate chapter here, and I know that I must be invited in only. I would love to attend these events to introduce myself, and learn the process to become a member. Thank You Submitted By: Nikita Coleman

Not Applicable I am not a member but I would like to know how to find out when chapters will be returning to a certain campus. From what I know about the chapter at SFA, it was suspended and there is talk about a new chapter emerging, but how long does it take for the chapter to resume or a new chapter to take it's place.
